Privacy
Your moves stay yours.
CatGrab has no accounts and no server of ours. What you write stays on your device and, if you want it on more than one device, in your own iCloud account.

What CatGrab stores
Your moves — title, note, state, optional time — and your fish: the name, photo and note you imported or typed. That is the whole database.
It is written to your device. If iCloud is on for CatGrab, the same database syncs through your personal iCloud account, which only you can read.
Contacts
When you import a fish, CatGrab asks iOS for access to your address book. It reads the contact you pick and copies the name, photo and note into its own database.
Nothing is uploaded, nothing is scanned in the background, and the rest of the contact — phone numbers, email, addresses — is never read or stored. You can withdraw access at any time in Settings → CatGrab → Contacts.
What we collect
Nothing. CatGrab has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that carries your content, and no account to attach behaviour to.
Apple gives every developer anonymous App Store statistics — downloads, crashes, ratings by country. Those are aggregated by Apple and can never identify you or anything you wrote.
Advertising
The free app shows ads. Ads are requested without any of your content — no move, note, fish or photo ever leaves the device to fill an ad slot.
The one-time purchase removes ads and the ad requests along with them. iOS also lets you limit ad tracking system-wide in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by your device from the lead time you set. No reminder passes through a push server of ours, because there is no server of ours.
Children
CatGrab is a general-purpose todo app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the local database. To clear the synced copy as well, turn CatGrab off in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage, or delete its iCloud data there.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it and the new version replaces this one here.
